This is a partial map of Costa Rica. For the purpose of identifying the area where "Costa Rica Herping Adventures" will be staying and herping on its trips. I'll try to lead you on the map. First locate San Jose a third of the way up on the right side marked by the circle with a 1 in it. From San Jose we will travel to the left on the Blue Line marked by a square with a 3 in it. We will make a left turn where the the red line crosses the blue. That road is is marked by a square with a 1 in it. We will go through Atenas, San Mateo, Orotina. On that road go to the next square with a 1 in it. There to the right is Carara National Park, a mile or so below the park is a dirt road to the left, down that road a little bit is the Hotel Villa Lapas. That's where we stay for the remainder of the trip. Our road cruising area is the road we came in on and below the hotel to Jaco.There it becomes road 2, we hunt from there down to Quepos.
